Update 7/29/22. Steel Bite Pro is a dietary supplement, said to be invented by a researcher named Thomas Spear, that is said to a natural gum disease treatment to support the health of teeth and gums. That implies that it can help reduce cavities, reduce red, swollen, bleeding gums, strengthen and whiten teeth, make your bad breath smell better, and overall improve periodontal gum disease. Do you still need to floss if you take this supplement? In this Steel Bite Pro review, discover the ingredients and research, how to get a refund, if you need to as well as the overall pros and cons of this dietary supplement. Is Steel Bite legitimate or an internet scam? Here's what you need to know.
What Is Steel Bite Pro
According to the company, oral health issues like gum disease, bad breath, tooth decay, and bleeding gums are not related to your oral hygiene bad habits. Rather, the company contends, the insults on dental health are caused by predatory bacteria buried deep inside your gums that break down the roots and spread like the plague to other parts of your body. Steel bite Pro is touted to help with these issues.
Steel Bite Pro Usage Directions
If you're trying to figure out how to take Steel Bite Pro, it's pretty straightforward. Take 2 capsules once a day. You can take the two capsules together or at different times of the day. The company suggests for best results to take the capsule 20 -30 minutes before a meal with 8 oz of water.
Steel Bite Pro is popularly known as the “60-second dental trick” because you're only expected to take two capsules anytime before going to bed, which would take less than 60 secs to perform.

The official website says Steel Bite is made with 23 ingredients, the Supplement Facts label shows only 22 ingredients.
Other ingredients in Steel Bite Pro which help the ingredients mix well together include cellulose, rice flour, choline, magnesium stearate, and silicon dioxide. These other ingredients are not the key ingredients and have no function in how well Steel Bite Pro Works.
Zinc oxide is the first ingredient listed in Steel Bite Pro Supplement Facts label. This tells us the company feels it is important. Two capsules of Steel Bite Pro contain 30 mg of zinc which is 273% of the normal daily intake. Zinc is an essential mineral that aids with immune function, the sense of smell and taste, and wound healing. Zinc also helps oral health too. Zinc is found in saliva and helps the formation of the enamel covering of teeth. This trace mineral also reduces the breakdown of tooth enamel too.
Zinc may also be used in oral health products to inhibit tartar formation. Tartar or calculus is the hard plaque that covers teeth that dental hygienists scrap away with sharp instruments when you visit the dentist. Zinc has also been shown to help keep bones strong by stimulating bone mineralization. The teeth are anchored to the jaw via ligaments so anything that would make the jawbone (mandible) stronger, may lead to stronger teeth.
Two capsules of Steel Bite Pro have 30 mg of milk thistle. The milk thistle component, called silymarin has been shown to reduce blood sugar levels in people who have type II diabetes. Over 90% of people with diabetes have some type of dental problem, opening the possibility that dental health and diabetes may be related. Milk thistle seems to inhibit the growth of several bacteria including staphylococcus aureus which causes dental cavities.
Silibin (silybin) one of the substances in silymarin may also inhibit the growth and spread of oral cancer, tongue cancer, and lung cancer. Some studies have also demonstrated that milk thistle appears to protect the liver. Lesser known is the antibacterial and oral health effects of milk thistle.
Beets are a good source of dietary nitrates which can lower blood pressure. Some research finds beetroot juice can improve athletic performance too. As we age the oral cavity microbiome declines which can lead to dental problems. Beets have been shown to reduce inflammation and enhance the microbiome health in the mouth, which might improve both brain and heart function.
Artichoke consumption may naturally control elevated cholesterol levels. Preliminary research has shown artichoke can protect the liver and maybe help the liver regenerate after injury.
Phyllanthus niruri refers to a shrub that grows in Asia and South America, where it is called Chanca piedra which means “stone breaker,” a reference to the ability of Phyllanthus niruri to break up kidney stones. Some research shows Phyllanthus niruri lowers blood sugar and according to one study there is “strong pharmacological potential in developing P niruri as a drug to be used in liver disorders and in antiviral therapy.
Dandelions are a good source of vitamins and minerals such as folate, vitamin K and potassium. While many recognize dandelion as a natural diuretic, research is also discovering that dandelion root seems to have anti-cancer benefits. It's thought that dandelion may be able to cause the destruction of pancreatic and colon cancer cells. While much of this research involves animals and isolated cells, its potential impact on human health warrants more studies.
Chicory root contains a natural prebiotic soluble fiber called inulin which has been shown to improve microbiome diversity. Some research has hinted that the inulin in chicory root may also assist with weight loss. That said there's no proof Steel Bite Pro helps people lose weight.
Yarro flowers (Achillea millefolium) are related to both chamomile and chrysanthemums. While it is rumored to increase saliva in the mouth there is little clinical proof of this. While clinical studies of yarrow is still in their infancy, some evidence suggests it may help reduce relapses of multiple sclerosis.
Also called Ziziphus jujuba, Chinese dates and red date, this fruit has been used medicinally in China for over 3000 years. More recently Jujube fruit has been tested to see if it helps memory decline and insomnia. Like all fruits, Jujube fruit contains thousands of bioactive compounds including quercetin, epicatechin, and spinosin to name a few.
Jujube has antioxidant effects and protects against oxidation which is implicated in diseases ranging from Parkinson's to Alzheimer's disease. Other studies have shown jujube lowers blood sugar in people with type II diabetes. Some research suggests jujube fruit can stimulate nerve growth factors from brain cells called astrocytes.
Steel Bite Pro Proprietary Blend
Like all foods, celery (Apium graveolens) is composed of thousands of bioactive compounds such as luteolin, limonene, and apigenin. Together these substances act as a broad-spectrum antioxidant and can boost glutathione levels too. Celery is also a good source of vitamin C also. Despite the hype, celery has indeed been shown to have a multitude of health effects including lowering blood sugar and blood pressure as well as triglycerides, bad LDL cholesterol, and triglycerides. While much of the proof involves lab animals, celery seed has also been demonstrated to improve a woman's sexual function too.
Can Celery Seeds Help Arthritis Joint Pain?
Medicago sativa, better known as alfalfa has been shown to reduce LDL bad cholesterol levels. Alfalfa has been revealed to inhibit the formation of fatty streaks in the aortas of rabbits. Fatty streaks are the beginnings of atherosclerosis or heart disease. It is not known if alfalfa reduces fatty streak build-up in humans.
Grape seeds have a higher antioxidant potential than vitamin C, vitamin E, and beta carotene. Grapes contain linoleic acid which has been shown to improve heart disease risk factors by lowering LDL bad cholesterol and preventing its oxidation too.
In laboratory animals, grape seed seems to speed the healing of wounds. Proanthocyanidin-rich grape seeds also appear to lower blood pressure. This effect may be due to grape seeds acting as a natural ACE inhibitor.
Lesser well-known are the antimicrobial effects of grapes. Resveratrol, one of the more recognized substances in grapeseeds, inhibits the growth of several bacteria strains including staphylococcal aureus, which causes cavities, known to dentists as dental carries.
N-Acetyl Cysteine (NAC)
N-acetyl cysteine, also known as NAC is made from the sulfur-containing amino acid, cysteine, which is also found in Steel Bite Pro. N-acetyl cysteine supplements are well known for boosting glutathione, a powerful antioxidant substance. Research also suggests NAC can battle viral infections, help the heart by lowering homocysteine levels and help people who have chronic obstructive pulmonary disorder (COPD). Medically NAC is used to protect the liver from acetaminophen poisoning.

Despite the name, feverfew is not used to reduce fevers but rather to help treat headaches. Feverfew contains substances called sesquiterpene lactones which appear to help migraine headaches. Other researchers have noted feverfew may help osteoarthritis.
Turmeric is the world's most popular spice. Studies have documented turmeric lowers triglycerides, reduces inflammation, helps liver function, and may even assist people who have depression. While the spice contains thousands of bioactive substances, one component -called curcumin – garners much attention because it is a natural substance that can reduce inflammation and battle free radicals.
When researchers gave people a turmeric mouthwash, they found it worked as well in the prevention of plaque and gingivitis as the prescription antimicrobial mouthwash called chlorhexidine.
Red raspberries contain numerous bioactive compounds including fatty acids, vitamins and minerals as well as flavonoids, lignans, and other phytonutrients. Several studies, mostly conducted on animals, have shown red raspberries can lower LDL bad cholesterol, improve blood sugar levels and elevated blood pressure, reduce inflammation and bolster the body's antioxidant defenses.
Methionine is a sulfur-containing essential amino acid. This means humans cant make Methionine so it must be obtained from food or supplements. Some research finds methionine may reduce colon cancer risk and even help ease symptoms of Parkinson's' disease although more human studies need to confirm this.
Burdock root (Arctium lappa) is a popular ancient Chinese medicine that reduces inflammation and has free radical scavaging/antioxidant effects. One of the substances in burdock root, called arctiin lappa, has been shown to increase superoxide dismutase levels (SOD), a powerful antioxidant enzyme. In one study burdock tea reduced arthritis pain and inflammation. Early research also hints Burdock may block H. pylori, a bacteria known to cause ulcers.
Yellow Dock Root
Yellow dock root is common to Servia, Europe, and the US, and where some consider it an annoying weed. However, the yellow roots of the yellow dock have been used for centuries as a health tonic and general blood purifier. It also appears to be a natural laxative. The plant is a good source of vitamin A and C as well as calcium iron and phosphorous. Yellow dock is in the same family of plants as rhubarb.
Several studies have documented berberine is able to lower blood sugar levels and reduce LDL bad cholesterol levels too.

Let's talk about if Steel Bite Pro is safe to take? While the supplement is not FDA approved, realize that the Food and Drug Administration doe not approve supplements like Steel Bite or any others either. There are rules and the FDA does regulate them, however. The company that makes this oral health product does not mention negative side effects and while this may give some a sigh of relief, there are some things to be aware of if you're going to take this supplement.
Basic Things To Keep In Mind

Possible Ingredient Drug Interactions
While there are no known side effects, here are some theoretical side effects of some of the ingredients. If you are not healthy or take any medications to speak to your physician and pharmacist for specific insights.
- Zinc may increase vitamin A levels. High levels of vitamin A may not be safe during pregnancy.
- Milk thistle may interact with diabetes drugs like metformin, causing blood sugar to go too low

- Alfalfa contains vitamin K which may interfere with some blood thinner medications
None of these issues have been linked to people using Steel Bite Pro.
What Do I Suggest?
Besides flossing and brushing your teeth twice a day, one supplement that may be worth taking a look at is Dentitox Pro. Several people have commented to me that Dentitox improved their oral health. The ingredients in Dentitox Pro are different than Steel Bite Pro. Dentitox Pro is a liquid you brush your teeth and use on your gums. See the Dentitox Pro review for more insights.

Does Steel Bite Pro Truly Work?
While I can see the rationale for some of the ingredients, I don't see any good proof for this supplement preventing cavities, dental pain, strengthening teeth, or building bone in the jaw. Lack of evidence may not mean it doesn't work, but it would be nice if there were some.
