What Does The Word Ikaria Mean?

Ikaria is the largest of the Greek islands located in the Aegean sea. Besides its beauty, Ikaria is renowned for the long lifespan of its inhabitants. Rumors of the population's long life have garnered Ikaraia, along with Okinawa, Japan in the list of “Blue Zones” areas of the world where people live unusually long, free from disease and disability.

Ikria Lean Belly Juice

Ikaria Lean Belly Juice Powder. 30 servings per container

In 2012, The New York Times published an article titled “The island where people forgot to die” which tells the story of a man named Stamatis Moraitis who, in 1976, was diagnosed with cancer and given 9 months to live. After returning to his home in Ikaria, Greece, Mr. Moraitis fully recovered, lived decades beyond his diagnosis and even outlived his doctors. He died in 2013 at the age of 98 without a trace of cancer in his body.

What Is That Mountain Tea?

The New York Times article makes reference to a “mountain tea” and a mint tea made with dandelions -a common yard weed -and other ingredients consumed daily by people. Could this dandelion mint tea ritual be the idea that inspired Ikaria Lean Belly Juice? Take notice of the first ingredient listed on the supplement Facts label…

How Does Ikaria Lean Belly Juice Burn Fat?

Deviating from the normal thoughts that gaining excess body fat is a simple matter of calories eaten is greater than calories expended through daily activities, the Ikaria website states that being overweight is related to people's cells containing higher amounts of substances called ceramides.

The company making Ikeria Juice regards ceramides as the root cause of stubborn and visceral fat. As ceramides accumulate in cells, they cause fat to build up around internal organs. As fat builds up, it Ikaria lean belly juiceslows the function of vital organs such as the heart, liver, and pancreas and reduces your metabolism and your fat-burning hormones grind to a halt. This causes your body to switch to starvation mode, causing more of what you eat to be turned into fat. The result is that you gain weight.

The company contends that its Lean Belly Juice supplement contains ingredients that target ceramides, dissolving them inside the body so that your metabolism stays high and you become a fat-burning machine. The company also claims Ikaria Juice is the same longevity drink that some of Earth's healthiest and longest live people drink every morning.

What Are Ceramides And Do They Cause People To Gain Weight?

Ceramides are a type of fat made naturally in the body. The word “cera” is Latin for “wax” which tells you these are waxy substances. They are composed of both fatty acid and another substance called sphingosine.

Ceramides are found in the membranes of every cell of your body. For example, sphingosine, which is part of ceramides, helps form the fatty coating around nerves (the myelin sheet). This helps nerve impulses travel more efficiently through the body. Multiple sclerosis results when this coating breaks down.

On the flip side, the overproduction of ceramides may not be healthy. Both inflammation and oxidative stress (free radical damage) increase ceramide production. Gaining weight also ramps up ceramide production too. This unhealthy build-up of ceramides in tissues is thought to play a role in several pathogenic conditions such as:

  • insulin resistance and elevated blood sugar levels
  • heart failure
  • cancer development
  • the destruction of cells (called apoptosis)
  • interfering with proper mitochondria function
  • reduction in cellular energy levels

Do Ceramides Reduce Wrinkles?

There are nine different types of ceramides in the skin that keep it from drying out from lack of moisture. Some cosmetics may even contain ceramides in the hopes they might reduce wrinkles. Watch this video to learn more about ceramide wrinkle research.

Metabolic Blend (1000 mg)

Dandelion (Taraxacum officinale): Natures Diuretic

Dandelion is the first ingredient in the Ikaria Juice metabolic blend. This means it makes up most of the blend's 1000 mg. As stated in the New York Times article (The Island Where People Forgot to Die), a tea composed of dandelions and other ingredients is regularly consumed by people living on the island of Ikaria. Preliminary evidence suggests dandelion possesses antioxidant, anti-inflammatory, and antimicrobial effects.

The Food and Drug Administration (FDA) considers dandelion to be Generally Recognized as Safe to consume (GRAS). Dandelion is a source of many biologically active substances such as terpenes, caffeic acid, quercetin, vitamins, and minerals. Dandelion contains these nutrients: vIkaria lean belly Juiceitamins A, E, K, and B vitamins, as well as calcium, sodium, magnesium, iron, copper, silicon, zinc, and manganese. In 3.5 oz of Dandelion, there is 397 mg of potassium. This means it is also good for heart and blood pressure health too. While dandelion is not traditionally used to treat high blood pressure, in one study, it was reported dandelion extract exerted “significant antioxidant protection against hypertension” in animals.

As a natural diuretic, dandelion may facilitate a loss of liquids through urination, which is another way it helps lower blood pressure. Animal studies reveal dandelion can reduce blood sugar, triglycerides, and cholesterol levels.

Turmeric Root Extract (Curcuma longa)

Turmeric is often used as a spice as well as a dietary supplement. Various studies have revealed turmeric may help a wide range of health ailments such as insulin resistance, arthritis, non-alcoholic fatty liver disease (NAFLD), and elevated triglyceride levels.

Don't confuse turmeric for curcumin. Curcumin is one of many curcuminoids found in turmeric. Turmeric would be expected to be a more broad-spectrum nutrient.

Citrus Pectin (Fiber)

Pectin is a soluble fiber that mixes easily with water. Citrus pectin has been shown to curb appetite and improve satiety. Pectin has also been clinically demonstrated to lower cholesterol levels when used at a dosage of at least 3 grams (3000 mg). Pectin is also prebiotic, so it nourishes healthy gut bacteria too, leading to a more diverse and disease-free microbiome.

Green Tea Leaf Extract (Camellia sinensis)

Green tea is considered to be one of the world's most healthy drinks. Research links drinking green tea to a reduced risk of heart disease and dying from heart disease, the leading cause of death in the US. Some research has noted drinking just 1 cup of green tea a day was associated with a 10% drop in the risk of heart disease. One way green tea improves heart health is by reducing bad LDL cholesterol.

Green tea polyphenols are healthy substances in green tea leaves. Green tea polyphenols are antioxidants and also have anti-cancer effects. They also help the immune system stay vigilant and spot cancer before it develops.  Lean Belly Juice is standardized to contain 90% green tea polyphenols. Some researchers speculate that the polyphenol catechins in green tea may slow down memory loss, as well as Parkinsons' disease and Alzheimer's disease.

The green tea used in Lean Belly Juice is standardized to contain 80% catechins.  EGCG is a green tea catechin that gets a lot of attention. The catechins in Lean Belly Juice are standardized to contain 50% EGCG. In one study, 102 overweight women who were given 300 mg of EGCG for three months experienced more weight loss and reduced waist circumference compared to women who took placebo pills. While encouraging, remember that not all weight loss research supports EGCGs weight loss claims.

Kelp Extract (Laminaria japonica): Sea Vegetable Functional Food

Kelp is a type of edible seaweed sometimes called kombu in Japan and haidai in China and dashima in Korea. Various studies have investigated this sea vegetable, revealing that kelp appears to:

  • have anti-cancer effects
  • lower cholesterol (lowers bad LDL cholesterol and triglycerides/ raises good HDL cholesterol)
  • decrease blood sugar
  • reduce fasting blood sugar levels

Its possible kelp may also support weight loss by improving the diversity of the gut microbiome. This might aid weight loss by ramping up healthy gut metabolites such as short-chain fatty acids like butyrate.

Another way kelp may foster a slim tummy is by ramping up thyroid hormone. Kelp contains the mineral iodine, which is crucial for producing key thyroid hormones.

What Is Fucoxanthin, And How Does It Help Burn Fat?

Fucoxanthin is a brown-colored carotenoid substance found in seaweed. Lean Belly Juice is standardized to contain 10% fucoxanthin. In animals, fucoxanthin can:

  • raise good HDL cholesterol and lower bad LDL cholesterol
  • boost the energy substance, nicotinamide adenine dinucleotide phosphate (NADPH) in cells
  • maintain glutathione levels (a powerful antioxidant substance)

Fucoxanthin also stimulates uncoupling protein-1, which plays a role in thermogenesis (fat burning). The idea is that fucoxanthin ramps up metabolism by getting fat cells to burn more fat. Fucoxanthin might also help fat cells make leptin which reduces appetite. Some studies reveal fucoxanthin improves gut health too.

Milk Thistle Seed Extract (Silymarin)

Milk thistle (Silybum marianum) contains a substance called silymarin. The Lean Belly Juice company states milk thistle has a “potent fat-melting effect.” This claim is boastful, although milk thistle does appear to reduce inflammation and has antioxidant properties. The Milk thistle in Ikaria drink is Milk Thistle Blood Sugarstandardized to contain 80% silymarin. In the liver, milk thistle improves hepatitis by inhibiting replication of the hepatitis C virus. Milk thistle /silymarin also seems to lower blood sugar, making it restorative to those with insulin resistance.

Panax Ginseng

The Supplement Facts label indicates it contains Panax ginseng. However, both American and Asian ginseng is referred to as Panax, so this is a bit confusing. On the plus side, they do tell us the ginseng powder comes from the root of the plant, which is good. Ginsenosides are compounds in ginseng believed to be at the heart of ginseng's health effects. There are over 20 ginsenosides known to exist. Ginseng is also a classic adaptogen supplement. An adaptogen is a substance whose actions adapt based on what your needs are.

Ginseng has been shown to reduce fat cell size in animals that eat a high-fat diet. Different studies have also revealed Panax ginseng ginsenosides:

  • increases adiponectin
  • activate AMPK
  • reduce triglycerides
  • reduce blood sugar

When Panax ginseng was given to people, it reduced triglycerides, total cholesterol, and bad LDL cholesterol and boosted good HDL cholesterol. All of this would be expected to reduce the risk of heart disease.

Some research reveals ginseng may also improve blood circulation. This may be due to the ability of ginseng to nitric oxide levels.

Black Pepper Extract: Natures Nutrient Absorption Booster

Black pepper (Piper nigrum), known by some as the “king of spices,” contains a diverse array of bioactive substances, including terpenes, lignans, steroids, and flavones. Many of these substances act as antioxidants, while others are antimicrobial and reduce inflammation.

Black pepper is also a nutrient absorption booster. For example, black pepper is known to boost the absorption of turmeric significantly. This is due to the black pepper ingredient called piperine. Piperine helps the ingredients it's associated with to stay in the body longer. Black pepper also appears to protect aging brain cells.

Japanese Knotweed (Resveratrol)

Japanese knotweed, also known as Polygonum cuspidatum, Fallopia japonica, Fo-Ti, and Hu Zhang. It's a plant that grows in both the US and Asia and is a natural source of resveratrol. The Japanese knotweed used in Ikara Lean Belly powder is standardized to contain 98% resveratrol.

Resveratrol, which is also found in peanuts, grapes, and red wine, is rumored to have anti-aging effects because of its ability to activate the sirtuin system. Sirtuins are a class of anti-aging enzymes that

Japanese Knotweed

Japanese Knotweed

reduces inflammation and controls, cell division.

Resveratrol exists in two forms – cis and trans. The trans-form of resveratrol is considered the most biologically active. Japanese knotweed contains significant levels of active trans-resveratrol.

When researchers analyzed previous studies, they reported that resveratrol appeared to help people lose about an extra 1 to 2 pounds of body weight after several weeks of use. Interestingly, resveratrol appears to work better in those who are overweight than in thinner folks.

Polyphenol Blend (1000 mg)

Beet Root Powder (Beta vulgaris)

Beets contain substances called nitrates which can lower blood pressure. Clinical trials also suggest that beetroot juice improves exercise in the gym by helping people last longer before exhaustion sets in. Muscle soreness is a common complaint of those who work out. Research suggests betalains – substances in beets – may be responsible for reducing muscle soreness after physical activity.

Hibiscus Powder (Hibiscus sabdariffa)

What we call Hibiscus is actually a family of over 300 related plants. Hibiscus sabdariffa is the most common of these species. While hibiscus tea may be used for many reasons, reducing blood pressure is one of the most known things. Lowering blood pressure lowers your risk of having a stroke. Several clinical studies have revealed hibiscus tea is effective at reducing blood pressure. In theory, this effect may be greater when combined with other ingredients, such as beetroot juice.

Additionally, hibiscus may act as a natural remedy for hot flashes and other menopause symptoms. In one study, people taking hibiscus tea pills lost 1 pound more body weight than those who took a placebo. Hibiscus may also help reduce the effects of fatty liver disease too.

Strawberry Juice Powder

Besides tasting great in smoothies, strawberries are a good source of soluble and insoluble fibers. As such, they can shift the gut microbiome to a more healthy state. Clinical trials on strawberries have shown they can reduce blood sugar (and A1C levels), cellular inflammation, and bad LDL cholesterol.

Acai Juice Powder

Acai berries are a rich source of fiber and minerals like iron and calcium, vitamin A, and a variety of plant nutrients. Some research finds acai berries lower cholesterol and blood sugar levels too. Because acai inhibits an enzyme called COX (cyclooxygenase), it may help reduce arthritis pain. If proven true, Acai may work similarly to some medications.

Countering this, however, studies have not yet documented acai berries reduce arthritis pain in humans.  As for weight loss, animal research suggests acai berries may help; however, human proof is lacking. Bottom line: acai berries contain lots of nutrients, which is good. Researchers need to confirm what people say about them on the internet.

African Mango (Irvingia gabonensis)

To date, at least 4 human clinical trials possibly support African mango as a weight loss supplement. In one such investigation, people taking 350 mg of African mango extract (IGOB131) lost about 28 pounds over 10 weeks compared to just 1 pound in those taking a placebo. Those people also saw reductions in blood sugar and inflammation too. What's controversial is that other studies have not confirmed that African mango is an effective weight loss aid.

Black Currant Powder (Ribes nigrum)

Black Currant Oil Solaray

Solaray Black Currant Oil 600 mg. 90 soft gels. Quality-made supplement.

Black currant is a good source of alpha-linolenic acid (ALA), which some research hints may aid with healthy blood pressure. Both ALA and another fatty acid in black currant – stearidonic acid – can be converted in the body to fish oils such as EPA and DHA.

Several studies show black currant reduces total cholesterol and bad LDL cholesterol after just 1 month of use. In addition, research also suggests black current reduces pressure in the eyes and improves blood flow to the eyes. This could mean black is effective at helping glaucoma.

Blueberry Powder

Blueberries are power-packed fruits containing thousands of bioactive substances ranging from vitamin C and glutathione to polyphenols and anthocyanins, as well as gut-friendly fiber.

Some researchers have called blueberries “a cancer-fighting superfood” because of their apparent ability to stop cancer on the spot before it grows and spreads to other parts of the body. In addition,  research shows blueberries ease depression in kids and young adults – and do so quickly, in as little as 4 weeks.

Cranberry Powder

Cranberries and cranberry juice are well known for their potential ability to reduce urinary tract infections in women. Several studies reveal cranberries appear to reduce urinary infections by over 30%. Research like this promoted the FDA to allow companies to make health claims that an 8 oz glass of cranberry juice a day might reduce urinary tract infections in women. Other studies suggest that cranberry juice and cranberry supplements reduce prostate-specific antigen (PSA) levels in men who had elevated PSA levels.

Grapefruit Powder (Citrus paradise)

Grapefruits are actually a cross between sweet oranges with sweet pomelos. Studies show grapefruit juice can lower systolic and diastolic blood pressure in those with hypertension. Other research has documented reductions in insulin resistance too. That's good news for people with diabetes. Grapefruit has been also been shown to reduce triglycerides and bad LDL cholesterol compared to people who take a placebo.

Pomegranate Fruit Powder (Punica granatum)

Like all fruits, pomegranate is a good source of antioxidants and plant phytonutrients such as polyphenols and anthocyanidins. Pomegranate also has a spectrum of minerals like magnesium and potassium and vitamins such as ascorbic acid (vitamin C). Like several other ingredients in Ikaria, Lean Belly Juice, pomegranate has been shown to reduce blood pressure.

Preliminary evidence suggests pomegranate may help reduce prostate cancer but this needs to be verified with human clinical trials.

Raspberry Fruit Powder

Raspberries contain thousands of biologically active substances like anthocyanins, ellagic acid, and ellagitannins. In addition, raspberries also contain fiber, vitamin C, and minerals such as magnesium, potassium, and vitamin K. As such, raspberries help maintain blood vessel health and reduce the overall risk of heart disease. Raspberries are the final ingredient in the polyphenol blend, so there's not much present.

Ikaria Lean Belly Juice Digestive Blend (325 mg)

Inulin Benefits

Inulin, also known as chicory root extract, is a soluble fiber. Inulin-containing foods include fruits and vegetables such as bananas and onions. While inulin has no calories, it can be used by gut bacteria to improve microbiome health and diversity. Inulin is also well known at relieving constipation.

https://amzn.to/3Fxqjab

Organic Inulin powder. 8 oz. Quality made supplement

Additional evidence exists for inulin lowering cholesterol. In one study, people consuming inulin for two months lost 6 pounds compared to people not taking inulin. Inulin may aid weight loss by making people feel full. Inulin also ramps up the production of glucagon-like peptide-1  (GLP-1). Some diabetes medications work by stimulating GLP-1 release too.

Oat Fiber Powder Benefits

Oat fiber is a soluble fiber that mixes well in liquids. Oats used to make oatmeal have been extensively studied for their health effects. People who consume more soluble fiber like oat fiber have lower chronic inflammation. This may be why those who eat a diet rich in oat fiber have been shown to have lower cholesterol levels and a reduced risk of heart disease, stomach cancer, and diabetes.

Oats are also the main source of unique compounds called avenanthramides which have antioxidant and anti-inflammatory effects. Avenanthramides also appear to be the reason why oatmeal reduces skin itching and inflammation.

Beta-glucans are another healthy substance in oat fiber. In fact, oats have some of the highest concentrations of beta-glucans. When researchers gave oat fiber to people with elevated blood lipids, they reported that it reduced not only total cholesterol but also bad LDL cholesterol as well. This effect occurred quickly, too – after just 5 weeks.

Beta-glucans also strengthen the immune system by producing metabolic reprogramming. In other words, they train immune system cells to recognize and remember invaders before they cause us harm. The insoluble fibers in oats, such as cellulose, hemicellulose, and lignin, may also bolster immunity by improving gut health and promoting gut bacteria to produce more healthy short-chain fatty acids.

Ikaria Lean Belly Juice 9 Strain Probiotic Blend (125 mg / 3 billion colony forming units)

Here are the 9 strains of probiotics used in the formula:

  1. Lactobacillus acidophilus
  2. Lactobacillus salivarius
  3. Lactobacillus plantarumProbiotics benefits
  4. Lactobacillus rhamnosus
  5. Bifidobacterium lactis
  6. Bifidobacterium bifidum
  7. Lactobacillus fermentum
  8. Lactobacillus reuteri
  9. Bifidobacterium longum

Bacteria have three names – genius, species, and strain. It's disappointing the Ikearia lean juice company only tells us the first two names – genus and species. That said, there is clinical research on each of these, documenting they all have beneficial effects.

Each Ikara Lean Belly Juice formula scoop contains 3 billion CUF or colony-forming units. A colony-forming unit refers to the number of viable bacteria that can multiply inside your gut.

Ikaria Lean Belly Juice Prebiotic Blend

Prebiotics are the food that healthy probiotic bacteria consume. Here's a list of some of the prebiotics found in Ikaria Lean Belly Juice:

Citrus pectin Green tea
Kelp Beetroot
Strawberry Hibiscus
Acai Blueberry
Black currant Cranberry
Grapefruit Pomegranate
Raspberry Inulin

Given the diversity of prebiotics, it makes sense that Ikaria Juice powder would support gut health by promoting a more healthy and robust microbiome.  Studies reveal prebiotics also reduce C reactive protein (CRP), a marker for chronic inflammation. Lower cellular inflammation is linked to less cancer, heart disease, gout, diabetes, hardening of the blood vessels, thyroid problems, and other health ailments.

Ikaria Lean Belly Juice Clinical Proof

While the company lists 26 clinical references to support its use, none involve Ikaria drink itself. That's too bad because I'm sure some will be attracted to this supplement because they want to burn fat from their belly.

To be fair, many dietary supplements lack clinical proof. Unfortunately, there's little incentive for companies to study natural substances. Also, the supplement appears to be relatively new to the market. Clinical trials take time to be performed. However, there is research on the individual ingredients in the supplement. Is it possible all the ingredients work together synergistically?

How Long Until I Feel A Difference

The company says you may start to feel changes occurring after a few days or a week, but this time is not fixed. If Ikaria Lean Belly Juice works, the time it takes to work will depend on what you are looking for and what your health is like.

How Long Does It Take For My Purchase To Arrive

Generally, it takes 5 to 7 days if you live within the United States. If you live outside of the US, it may take 10 to 12 days.

Where Do They Ship To?

Ikaria Juice is shipped to all 50 US states, Canada, London, and the rest of the UK, Australia, New Zealand, and many other countries.

Is it Vegan?

Technically Ikaria Lean Belly Juice is vegetarian. There is a slight difference between these words. Vegetarians may eat meat, poultry, and fish, while strict vegans don't use or consume any animal products. If you are a vegan, this may not be the supplement for you.

Email customer support at support@leanbellyjuice.com

How Do You Use It, And What Is The Correct Dosage?

Mix 1 scoop into six oz of water once a day and drink in the morning, on an empty stomach, preferably one hour before breakfast. You can mix the powder in a glass or use a shaker bottle or blender, although blending is not necessary. The Ikaria drink does not taste bad but feel free to mix it with juice if the taste is not to your liking.

How Long Until It Spoils?

The shelf life of Ikaria Juice is up to 2 years after purchase. So even if you order 6 bottles, it will not go bad anytime soon. You may notice a best-if-used-by date on your package, which can give you an indication. While spoiling is unlikely, this will depend on how you store it. To maximize stability and effectiveness, store canisters in a cool, dry place, away from sunlight and moisture.

Can I Use It In The Morning And At Night?

The company recommends using Ikaria Juice only once a day, in the morning before breakfast. The fact they say this means they don't feel drinking it more than once a day is necessary. This is also good because it means you won't run out of quickly. Each canister will last you a month.

Is Ikaria Lean Belly Juice Powder Safe To Take While Pregnant?

Taking weight loss supplements while pregnant does not make sense. Don't take any supplements not recommended by your doctor during pregnancy.

Where Is Ikaria Lean Belly Juice Manufactured?

The supplement is made in the United States. This is good. The company website doesn't state which countries it gets its ingredients from.

Counterfeit Ikaria Lean Belly Juice?

Some may experience consumer confusion because different companies may offer Ikaria Juice containing different ingredients. If you see garcinia cambogia listed on the Supplement Facts label, return it. It's not a legit supplement. The official formula reviewed here does not contain Garcinia cambogia. This is good because Garcinia may not be safe for your liver.

Likewise, exotic ingredients such as raspberry ketones,  beta-hydroxybutyrate (BHB), or medium-chain triglycerides(MCTs) are not present either. Ikaria Juice is not an exogenous ketone supplement. Here's a tip: check the ingredients against what you see here and look for the 180-day (6-month) money-back guarantee.

How to Spot Fake Lean Belly Juice Reviews

Because this is a popular supplement, there are many reviews and videos out there. Sometimes those reviews may only tell one side of the story. For example, when it comes to high-risk side effects, you may see something vague like “the company is not aware of any side effects.” But not being aware of side effects does not mean there are no side effects.  Also, be on guard for reviews containing extreme and exaggerated over-the top-language such as these buzzwords:

  • Beware
  • Alert
  • Warning
  • Exposed
  • Do Not Buy Until You Read This
  • As Seen On Shark Tank
  • Real Customer Reviews

Ikaria Lean Belly Juice vs. Okinawa Flat Belly Tonic

Like Ikaria, Greece, Okinawa, Japan is another Blue Zone area where people live unusually long, free of most age-related diseases. Okinawa Flat Belly Tonic is another supplement whose maker claims can help with weight loss and vitality. While some of the ingredients in Okinawa Tonic are similar to Ikaria Juice Powder, other ingredients are different. There are no clinical trials comparing these supplements to each other. For more insights, see the review of Okinawa Flat Belly Tonic.

Ikaria Lean Belly Juice Side Effects, Precautions, and Contraindications

When this review was created, nobody who reported serious problems with this supplement was discovered.  That said, if you are going to use Ikaria Lean Belly Juice, here are some things to keep in mind. Does Ikaria Lean Belly Juice Really Work?

Do people in Ikaria, Greece, live longer because they drink an elixir of dandelions and other ingredients, or do they live longer because of what they are not doing – eating fast food, smoking, and exercising too little? Or could it be a combination of both? While I remain skeptical of miraculous results, the ingredients are not bad and probably will benefit gut health, antioxidant defenses and overall health. If you are going to try it, remember weight loss -and improvements in health – don't happen overnight or over a month.

I think if you are going to use this supplement that it takes time to kick in. That was my experience. I started supplementing with Okinawa juice back in January as part of my new years resolution. by the end of march/early april I had not noticed any differences in my weight but I kept it up because I liked the taste. By june, I was down by 15 pounds! Im shocked to say the least.

After not losing weight by march/april I stopped weighing myself as religiously, so when I went back it in june I was surprised to say the least. Here we are at the end of the year and Ive managed to drop my weight by 28 pounds. I really didn’t do much different. Ive worked out as before so that didn’t change. Im really not quite sure how it happened – but Im glad.

I dont know if this will help anyone but I wanted to share in case it did.

Ive tried weight loss supplements but never one that had ongoing coaching so that got my attention. Its only been 2 weeks but Im enjoying it so far. I don’t think its as expensive as you said.

I was wondering why Ikarian lean juice had dandelions – thanks so much for the backstory! For my backstory, Ive been following the program for about 2 months and so far I’m down 6 pounds. I dont feel hungry and do feel like I have more energy. Im sure it will work differently for different people but if it helps, I think I started like it was kicking in to boost my energy after about a month or so.

    Thanks again this detailed review.

I think I may have got dupped. when I looked at the Ikaria powder i have been using its first ingredient is sodium and it also contains the bhb beta butyrate ingredient you mentioned. Been using it for a month and have not dropped an ounce. I’ll stop using it and switch to the brand you mentioned – which has way more ingredients than what Ive been using.

Thank you for the hard work. I never would have known. I will look at labels more now.

Hi Bonita, so sorry to hear that! I hope you have better success with the version I reviewed. If nothing else you are not looking at labels and that’s a good thing in my book.

Ive been taking ikeria lean belly juice for 2 months and can say I have lost 4 pounds. Im not sure if its due to drinking the juice or because I’m taking advantage of their online support which is keeping me motivated. Im happy with the results and will keep taking this for a few more months to see what happens.
I appreciate the time you put into this review. You addressed a lot of things I was not aware of.
