About Joe

Joe Cannon holds an MS in exercise science and a BS degree in chemistry and biology. He's the author of several books, been quoted in the New York Times, Shape Magazine, and The Daily Beast. Joe wrote the first book about exercise-induced rhabdomyolysis. He's been teaching about preventing rhabdo for over 10 years. He trains personal trainers, speaking to thousands each year, and has even lectured to the NASA community. Since the 1990s he's been investigating and teaching about dietary supplements.     I feel like I have better sleep when I take a separate Vitamin D at dinner but don’t see this benefit when I take it as part of the calcium bone supplement the same time.

      Judy, that’s interesting. While I’ve never heard of vitamin D helping sleep, as long as its working for you that’s whats most important.
