Chocolate Blueberry Protein Power Balls

Teresa Giordano, personal trainer and author of The Power of Healthy Eating knows that eating clean can be boring sometimes so she's spent years experimenting  in the kitchen to find healthy recipes that are not only good for you but taste great too! Here is one of those recipes that people find especially tasty.

In food processor add:

  • 1 scoop Beverly Chocolate Ultimate muscle protein
  • 20 Pitted Dates
  • 1/4  cup raw organic Almond butter
  • 1/3  cup dried wild blueberries
  • 1 scoop Chia seeds (omega fatty acids)
  • 2 Tsp. Organic Raw Coconut Butter (great source of Amino acids)

Puree until you get a sticky fine consistency.

Using your clean dry hands, make small balls, the size of marbles. (you should get about 40).

Lay on a dish or flat plate and refrigerate up to 5 days.

Taste Great right out Refrigerator. Great Energy boost before a Run as it has Great source of Healthy Carbohydrates.  Or use it as just a sweet healthy version of a treat instead of high calorie, sugar, bad carbohydrate dessert.

Nutritional Content Per Power Ball:

  • Calories: 30
  • Fat 1.3 g
  • Protein 1.7 g
  • Fiber 0.6 g
  • Carbs: 2.5 g

*Remember healthy fat choices such as Coconut butter, Almond butter, chia seeds are all necessary for your body to release bad fats, feed the Brain, allow better concentration, keep your body feeling Satisfied.
